Public Authority Request Policy

Effective August 28, 2026

Adport reviews requests from government and public authorities for user or advertising-platform data before disclosing information. Adport does not provide voluntary or indiscriminate access to user data.

Legal review

Each request must identify the requesting authority, the legal basis for the request, the affected account or person, the categories of information requested, and the applicable time period. Adport verifies the request's authenticity, jurisdiction, legal validity, and scope before responding.

Challenges and notice

Adport challenges or rejects requests that appear unlawful, invalid, overbroad, disproportionate, or outside the requesting authority's jurisdiction. Where legally permitted, Adport notifies the affected customer before disclosure so the customer may seek appropriate relief.

Data minimization

If disclosure is legally required, Adport provides only the minimum information necessary to satisfy the valid request. Adport does not disclose advertising-platform credentials, secrets, or unrelated tenant data when a narrower response is sufficient.

Documentation

Adport documents public-authority requests, the review performed, decisions and challenges, the legal reasoning, people involved, information disclosed, and the response date. Records are protected and retained only as long as necessary for legal, security, and accountability purposes.
